Most gunsmiths and machinists agree that accuracy within 1/1000 of an inch for these purposes is not enough.

When used with the correct grizzly rod, the bushing set allows you to dial in tolerances between 0.2992" and 0.3008".

These bushings are made from high-speed steel. HSS has been heat treated for hardness and wear resistance.
