I bought this feeder and the 1.5 horse shaper along with a jointer and a table saw plus a few dodads all at the same time. The saw and jointer went together slick as snot and the shaper and power feeds went went also But, when it came to mounting this bad boy to the shaper I ran into trouble. According to the picture in the manual it looks like you should mount it to the right hand side behind the fence as you are standing in front of the spindle side of the shaper. WRONG!!! This cost me hours of wasted time and i now have four useless holes in my table. Not a big deal but damn it is unsightly. if you mount it there you can not get it close to the fence and still get one wheel feeding in and two feeding out as it should be. nor can you point the feeder slightly towards the fence as the motor will hit the arm. The correct way is on the left side as you are standing in front of the spindle. Basically on the out feed side of the shaper behind the fence.. I also learned that you will have a very hard time finding any spot without a cast iron web in the way of the bolt pattern that is on the base of the power feed. Repositioning the base I came up with a new idea. I mounted the base to a piece of 3/8 steel and drilled four hold down bolts through the steel in four locations that did not have cast webs and had enough room so that the nuts could actually turn without hitting a web. Something that is nearly impossible to do with the standard base four hole pattern. Below are pictures of what it looks like It works like a charm. I am very happy with it, but it was a bit of work . I have a full metal shop so it was easier for me than if you had to go buy the metal and tools to do it.

Good unit with only one observation 07/15/2019 1:35:04 PM

Received my Power Feeder and I have to say I do like what it does! It has significantly improved the consistancy of my router table cuts and made them faster and improved safety. My only observation is that the arm that holds the unit is a bit short.... I have a Kreg Router Table and can just barely get the feeder in place. If we had another 12 inches of movement on the arm it would be perfect.

Solid product but needs more speed adjustment 04/22/2019 2:12:09 AM

I bought this product to compliment my Grizzly shaper to make cope and stick doors in my cabinet shop. However, even with the aftermarket adjustment gears, it still runs far to fast to run stock on the shaper without tearout, no matter how light of passes I take. I bought a variac transformer to slow it down even further, and it does fine now on european birch (since most of my clients want paint-grade kitchens these days). However, the levers to lock in the position of the shaper require so much force to tighten adequately that the nut in one of them started spinning out a couple of days ago, and there is no good way to get pliers or vice grips on the nut to loosen it. I had to cut the lever with an angle grinder to even remove it. This unit is only about six months old. It would seem a simple fix to make the tolerances tighter on these parts so the nuts don't spin out...or the nuts deeper than their respective slots so that the user can get a wrench on them if something like this happens.

    Great 12/09/2018 2:44:55 PM

I bought this to add to a shaper to run 12,000 ft of ship lap. Works amazing! Makes every piece exactly the same. As long as u keep the wheels blew out it will even pull a piece of mdf out of your hands. Feeder allows pretttymuch any one to be able to run your stock once its set up properly.

Great little power feeder 06/17/2018 2:10:57 AM

I purchased this feeder as I regularly rip pine and aspen lumber. Ir works very good for my needs. My only regret is that I did not purchase it sooner.

I've used Power Feeder to mill about 30 linear feet of door stiles. Worked very well and saved strain on my hands.

    Perfect! 06/02/2017 2:13:24 AM

I should have bought the stock feeder years ago. It works great, is relatively easy to set up, and has improved both quality of cut (router table) and safety. Even if you are someone who doesn't run a production shop, the improvement in quality and safety make this machine a very practical purchase. No more fumbling with clamps and awkward feather boards!

    Works great 01/27/2017 7:48:34 PM

Got the power feeder for Christmas, made a portable stand for it. It now can attach to my table saw, jointer, or router table. I enjoy building canoes and kayaks so i run a lot of long stock. It's so nice not having to push 16 foot boards. My old shoulders thank you Grizzly.

    Shipped fast 01/26/2017 2:51:42 PM

Power feed was shipped fast and in good condition. Works well but the wheels needed to be scuffed up in order to grab.
