Good Suction - Good Product 02/18/2019 2:28:28 PM

I've been using this unit for a month now. I am impressed with the suction ability. It seems to easily match the rated cfm's. I have been using it on my Supermax 19-38 drum sander and it is plenty adequate in collecting the sander dust.

nice collector 02/11/2019 11:30:47 PM

overall I'm happy with the dust collector. I had a hard time putting on some of the screws tying the DC to the filter; the engineering could be revised on that.
It's less noisy than I expected and the sound stays in lower frequencies so it's bearable without headphones or plugs.
One thing though, better use 4" hose to pick up anything other than sawdust. I have a 2" hose connected to a 4" hose and I tried to pick up a bunch of small 1-1/4" brad nails and I could hear them rattle near the intake and then fall out. Once I swept them all in a pile I used the 4" hose and it worked fine.
Also, the support bracket doesn't have anything to hold the DC in place. I know it"s a wall mount but rolling around on a cart makes it move despite the weight. Not a big deal, I used 2 screws but still, that's simple engineering guys...

LOVE IT 04/04/2018 2:12:10 PM

I was hesitant because I've read mixed reviews on the hanging dust collectors. People say they don't have enough power, they're a pain to put together, etc. I have a 400 sq. foot shop, and this was perfect. It's actually a lot more quiet than I expected it to be. It went together fairly easy (does help having a second set of hands when installing the filter and bag), but in the end took maybe 30 minutes to have it mounted and running. I combined it with a Dust Deputy and it is perfect for my shop.

Canister feature is a plus 03/15/2018 2:03:32 PM

This unit does well to keep the shop clean from large particles. Paired with a cyclone separator, i transformed this unit into an affordable two-stage system with minimal need to empty the filter bag.

Seems to work fine. The bracket that you hang it from was a bit shallow and putting the bag on was a hassle to do by yourself. Other than that ...all good.

Not good 02/14/2018 11:33:58 AM

The design is flimsy when putting the canister on it wobbles a lot flexing the fan housing . I broke two screws putting the dust canister on as the hardware is cheap Chinese metal not good.the bags designed are too tight to slip on they should have been made an inch bigger and taller for more volume. The suction is mediocre. Not happy on this

Great Vacuum 02/07/2018 12:42:19 PM

I purchased the wall hanging dust collector as I dont have any more floor space in my small shop. This unit really sucks; in a good way. I have it dedicated to my cabinet saw now but my expand it use to other tools. Very happy with this purchase.

This is a great product! Its well made and does the job. The pleated paper filter is perfect. It actually collects dust unlike fabric bags that allow so much harmful dust back into the work space.

Nice Machine (multi room setup) 12/17/2017 4:25:52 PM

I have a small basement shop in a ranch town home, luckily my shop is along a wall that attaches my garage above. So I wanted to put my dust collector out in the garage to suck dust off the machines in my shop by routing the hose back into the basement. To get as much shop dust completely out of the home. I also didn't want to take up any floor space in the garage for parking so this wall unit is well off the garage floor under some storage shelves. This unit provides enough CFM to operate a machine at a time in the basement and pulls the dust out of the home. For all machines it is adequate and lifts the dust the 9 feet up it has to go to leave the basement up to the garage. I needed to cut venting holes in the shop wall adjoining the garage as well so there is an easy path for the return air that I am displacing from the shop at 500 CFM through the hose. Luckily the 2x10 joist rise of the home gives me a way to vent the shop and route the hose from basement to garage. I didn't want the vacuum pulling that return air from the drain vents or attic of the town home, that would be unhealthy. So if you are contemplating placing a dust collector in a garage for a basement shop in the home you have to vent the shop back to the room with the vacuum large enough to handle the CFM. You can cover the vent holes with a furnace filter and 1 inch cold air wall grille. I found a CFM caculator on the web, at 500 CFM draw with my 4 inch by 24 inch filtered vent, the airflow back into the shop is about 8.5 MPH. That doesn't seem like a strain to me on the vacuum. If it were 65 MPH I'd say otherwise and make a much bigger vent to get it down below 15 MPH or so. Photo attached, the round hole under the unit is for the hose going to the basement before I got to installing that. Great machine for a single-user shop. When my wife starts getting into turning 20 inch bowls I'll probably need to go to 2 HP and sell this unit. But for now this is perfect for all my projects.

Awesome product 08/21/2017 9:05:40 PM

I purchased this item because I got tired of saw dust covering everything in my garage and when I purchased a band saw it became a necessity. I use it with diy cyclone separator and it works very well I am impressed. I would definitely recommend this item.

Uses Less Floor Space 07/12/2017 4:25:47 PM

My shop was being cluttered with several shop vacs dedicated to various power tools. This Wall Mount system not only give me more floor space it is also better at collecting dust. I have a Laguna that takes up a lot of room. I wish I would have purchases 3 of these wall mounts instead of the one Laguna.

I am pleased with purchase. Very quiet compared to my larger jet (portable) system in my barn. A little disappointed by grid cast into the intake. It will not allow small pieces of wood or paper, or leaves for that matter to be pulled into the filter bag. You must disconnect hose to remove for proper suction. Yes I would buy again. Works good for its intended purpose. I have one 10 foot length (clear accordion style hose) attached directly to 14" band saw. Then an additional 10 foot section for reaching lathe and surrounding floor area.

Great machine for short runs 01/26/2017 9:03:19 PM

I have this unit connected to a grizzly edge sander and band saw using one splitter and the hose run is less than four feet. This unit provides strong suction even with a splitter and two blast gates. The assembly was easy. I mounted mine to a frame I made so I was easily able to mount the unit. So after about a month of use I suggest it for a short run to no more than two reasonably close machines.

My only complaint is that the bag is a pain to attach but that is true for any bag unit. Especially for one mounted.

Great Wall mount dust collector!so 01/26/2017 1:48:09 PM

So glad I did my research and decided on this dust collector. This is a quality well built machine. Finally have it running in my small shop and couldn't be happier with the performance!

Great dust collector 01/26/2017 2:42:49 AM

Great suction with a reasonable noise level. I converted my small ground level bedroom into a wood shop. I needed a wall mounted dust collector that was both effective and quiet. This unit fit the bill.

Have used for 4 months. Performing satisfactorily.

very nice compact dust collector 04/19/2016 11:32:55 AM

just received this (time will tell its reliability)
very nice design, it is a wall mount unit. I made a portable cart, and added a BRUTE RUBBERMAID garbage can as a cyclone dust collector for PRE-dust collector.
the combination works very well, and has a compact floor footprint; the cart is 30 inches long by 15 nches wide.
all parts were included (one of the mpounting plate threads were stripped out, i drilled it out and added a 1/4 -20 bolt, that worked very well)
the canister attached well, and has a cleaning paddle in the canister, and the plastic bag attached well.
with my cyclone pre-dust collector, and test cuts, there is no dust in the bag yet, and the cyclone garbage can is picking up this dust
overall, very satisfied with this
