• Dual Cutting Modes with Variable Speed: This machine offers two distinct cutting modes, allowing you to switch between materials. Select the Wood mode to access speeds from 540 to 3600 FPM, perfect for fast, clean cuts in various lumber. For metalworking, switch to the Metal mode, which provides slower, controlled speeds from 100 to 650 FPM to prevent overheating and ensure a smooth finish. Remember to use the correct blade for each material—a wood-cutting blade for wood and a metal-cutting blade for metal. A simple selector on the control panel lets you choose your mode, and a digital readout displays your exact speed.
• Massive Table with Precision Fence: The large 23-5/8" x 17-1/4" cast-iron table provides a stable work surface for large and heavy materials. It also tilts from 5° left to 45° right, giving you the flexibility to make angled cuts. The included cast-iron fence with an extruded-aluminum rail and a resaw fence attachment allows for consistent, accurate rips and straight cuts every time.
• Simple Blade Adjustments: Blade tensioning is straightforward with a quick-release lever and a handwheel for precise adjustments. This feature saves you time and effort when changing blades. Blade tracking is easily controlled by adjusting the upper wheel tilt, ensuring the blade stays in the correct position for optimal cutting performance.
